for a moment, i thought i was going to lose my fare money back in the noon. The bus let out an irritating siren and so it went, slower and slower..(crawling in the middle of the road) But then again, it made a turn to the side. Strangely, this reminded me of once when I was singing on the bus back to my friend’s house and how she claimed that if I dared to sing another time, the bus would stop.

Guess she was right. just when i wanted to prove her wrong, the bus’s engine ran into some problems so the bus stopped and it had to regenerate again haha!

Nonetheless, these experiences never dampens my love for bus rides.

Don’t you enjoy the journey home alone where you have a book or just pluck in some music to accompany along? I’ll always let my mind go blank and just well I don’t know, do nothing. (: If im in a company of friends, usually we’ll be doing some mindless stuff. I won’t ever forget that time when we were on our way back to school from tampines mall. The bus was so crowded but thank God we’ve got seats. Who would have thought that when we were about to alight,my friend farted (sounds included)! She kept quiet and I laughed. Ended up,the malay guy infront turned and look at me with fingers pinching his nose,” busou la! “. I was like, hey mister.. im innocent!

Whatever it is, i still think bus rides are always interesting.hmm, blogging this makes me think of my budds. , miss them loads! (yes, I Strongly agree that girls really enjoy camwhoring in toilets 😛 )

This is my last post so i’m writing really short, random stuff here. (sorry mr leslie! hee.)

k lastly, check out the COOLEST hairdo secretly shot on bus:

too-de-loo peeps!

The SiChuan earthquake.

It brings so much terror to the people’s heart.

The death toll was estimated to be about 50,000. I can’t even imagine being there, seeing all the dead bodies lying around.

Everywhere in the news, Tv are all parents, children and relatives.

There was this particular mother that truely showed what love was all about.Buried inside the debris, she used her body as a covering to protect her baby. with bended kneels and hands supporting the weight, she couldn’t care less about her survival. In the end, when the rescue teams found her, she was found dead whereas the baby was soundly asleep, unhurt. The touching part was that they found a handphone with a text message in Chinese saying ‘ If you’re alive, know that even if mommy is not here, I still love you. ‘ yup, the message went some sort like that.As for the other parents, most of them went ahead to identify their children’s schoolbags and since that day on, they would carry the bags to the site hoping that one day, their kids will be found, alive.

Just by reading about all these stories makes my heart aches. I guess the sudden lost of a kin, further more their only child, due to China’s one child policy, must be too hard for them to bear.

After this incident, I realised everything can be so unpredictable. One minute you’re studying in school, next, you’re crushed under heavyweight debris and found dead. so friends, treasure every moment you have with your loved ones.

‘live life to the fullest because you’ll never know what tomorrow will bring.’

yes yes, I’m blogging about Procrastination because I admit i’m one myself.

Assignments and Projects have been piling up and I don’t know where to start ): But o well, its my fault because i seem to have this mentality that 24 hours a day will never seem to end or time will just freeze when I’m squeezing my brain juices on what to write about.

I’ve always wondered to myself, what is it that makes me want to procrastinate.

The act of postponing, delaying or putting off, especially out of habitual carelessness or laziness.

from []

and I couldn’t have agreed better! But of course people don’t only delay matters because of laziness. I googled more about it and found some points that were well elaborated..

There’s more than one flavor of procrastination. People procrastinate for different reasons. Dr. Ferrari identifies three basic types of procrastinators:

    • arousal types, or thrill-seekers, who wait to the last minute for the euphoric rush.
    • avoiders, who may be avoiding fear of failure or even fear of success, but in either case are very concerned with what others think of them; they would rather have others think they lack effort than ability.
    • decisional procrastinators, who cannot make a decision. Not making a decision absolves procrastinators of responsibility for the outcome of event

I think most of us fall into the second and third points don’t we? mmm, guess it all falls back on our confidence about our abilities. The tiny weeny bug of low self-esteem inside of us comes creeping into our minds and sooner than we know, nothing much is accomplished after staring at the screen for as long as only we know. I admit, that’s for my case. (: Its not that we have nothing to write about, i mean there are a whole loads of issues, stuff, rants for us to scribble in. Its just that, will we be able to write it well, interesting and bla bla bla. To distract our attention, we’ll be checking our mailboxes, facebooking and youtubing! It makes us feel that we’re still doing something except that it requires less responsiblity. Somewhat like a false sense of achievement to make up for what’s not done yet?

We’ve been blinding ourselves from saying, ” not enough time leh.” . Time management no longer comes into play if we talk about procrastination because i feel that it cannot be put on par with Insufficient time. Okay, im like telling myself about all the lies I’ve used to make myself less guilty and at the same time, fulfilling this week’s blog post! hiak! Whatever that i’m writing serves as a reminder for me too man, tsk. 😀

Like how Dawson Trotman would put it,

“The greatest amount of wasted time is the time not getting started.”

TIME: 1.40am. And I know I can’t possibly sleep well if i don’t get something done.

so Ta-Da! Im here blogging.

I’ve just been thinking about some stuff lately.

Few days back, I took a long journey home from school. Just as the bus approached a stop near a neighbourhood Primary school, they caught my eye. Sitting along the pavements outside 7-eleven, the three boys were happily chatting away. As I looked down from the double deck, somehow I was drawn to their innocence. They were just popping ice creams into their mouths, talking about whatever that is but they seemed happy.

Those boys reminded me of my primary school days..where we found everything so easy for us to forgive and even forget.Chat a whole lot with someone whom we don’t even know but don’t really we could hopefully have a companion for recess. All that, ” don’t friend you! ” ( minutes later ) ” k la, I friend you back. haha, remember? Fond memories indeed. [Boy, I sound as if I’m so old..]

Humans just grow to be more complex uh? Everything don’t appear simple in our eyes anymore. As we enter into the world, politics;jealousy;competition;pride and all that you can think of comes into place. We’ll find it harder to ‘friend you back’ and forgive because we’ll be so busy harnessing the open wound, thinking there’s more to it than just this. Like how often Hong Kong Drama would portray about how old time buddies become enemies down the road because of some stupid misunderstandings.Well, I guess I’ll never really understand how our mind thinks and how its perceiving things. How I wish someone invented a restart button that can be inserted into our brains. Everyone can then easily erase anything bad and live a simple life, how I wished. Too bad, this is life (:

ARGHH.I’ve been plagued by sickness again.

I went to visit the doctor today and just 5minutes of consultation costed $26.

‘ no fried,spicy,oily food ‘

‘rest well and drink alot of water ok? ‘

‘oh ya, do you need MC for today? ‘

‘er, i have no school today.’

‘huh? why? today is not a public holiday what.’

‘ haha, im studying in a Poly now. we don’t have fixed schedules.’

‘HUH, you’re not studying in Sppring.. spring what field secondary meh?’

Guess the specs he’s wearing isn’t helping alot.Hello? Obviously we’re not allowed to dye our hair in secondary school! :X

I was feeling real sluggish today. But i wasn’t able to sleep well because of the nagging pain inside my throat. All I could do was to drown myself with plenty of water. Parents always tell us to drink 8 cups of water a day to stay healthy. Water is so essential since our body is made up of like 70% of it?

I googled to confirm and boy I got more than i searched for.

[…Every life giving and healing process that happens inside our body… happens with water. In just the last decade medical science has begun to focus more on the tremendous healing ability our body has and how much that ability depends on water. Our body instinctively knows how and strives to sustain youthful longevity, and in its every effort… water is the key.

The human body is made up of over 70% water. Our blood is more than 80%, our brain … over 75%, and the human liver is an amazing 96% water! ] – from

After reading, i feel so dehydrated maybe because I’ve never drunk 8 cups of water in a day before? I mean, when our body gets overly dehydrated, the system just shuts down and we don’t feel thirsty. So naturally, I don’t crave for plain water. Afterall, even if i really want to get a drink,I’ll go for flavoured drinks like 7-up,lemon tea instead. Unknowingly, these drinks have already replaced the position of healthy plain water in my life.

So peeps, Drink up (plain water Not flavoured drinks) for a healthier You! Or you’ll end up sneezing away like me. 😦

PS: sorry if the picture irks you. hahas 🙂

Reality shows.

Who doesnt love them?

I’ve just finished watching another episode of Project Runway 4 and in my opinion, it’s really one cool show! Its not that im really into fashion or anything, but everytime its on,it’ll keep me glued to it throughout. So it set me thinking, why am i attracted to it?

Initially i thought i was drawn to the challenges they’ve been put up to. Seeing them show off their creativity under pressure.Since every clothing they create is to be done in given, the most 2 days?

But i realised i was wrong.

I was actually drawn to how the participants slowly reveal their true selfs as time pass and when competition heats up.What makes it interesting is how the show ‘s editors usually choose one of the competitors as the ‘lucky’ one to be the bad guy once he says/acts rudely more than a few times.Poor him.Why do i pity him you say?

They focus in on him when the show starts to turn dull and cut away most of the good deeds and things he say, showing only the criticism and scrutiny that he’ve done to others. Next, they’ll show what the other people have to say about him. Some even talk about how his words actually cut them. These magnifies his differences or flaws and you start hating him.Next thing you know, you watch every episode hoping to see how this has progressed. Haha. True? Who knows, off set he may be an active volunteer and the one who often help old people across roads. Okay la, that’s just me saying the extreme. (:

The real competition aside, reality shows aren’t as real as they appear to be. We viewers are only interested to know what’s happening in other people’s life and laugh off when we know there’s someone worst off them us.

Kay, i’m not very sure if people get what im writing. Ha. (:
